Police Assisted Project of Lorain County
&
A.L.E.R.T of Huron County

Under this project, CPRSs respond within 90 minutes to calls from participating police stations throughout Lorain & Huron County. This program is like WHO in that we consider it one of our emergency projects and peers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Anyone looking for help with their addiction can go into a participating police station, such as Wellington Police Department, Willard Police Department, & Huron County Sheriff’s Department, ask for help, and they will contact us immediately.

Police Chief Barfield with the Wellington Police Department states:

Let’s Get Real has been a pillar in recovery for this county. The LINC program (Local Initiative to Network Compassion),

formed by Wellington safety services in 2016, partnered with them early in our program. The resources, principles and personnel

at Let’s Get Real makes a real difference in the lives of many suffering from the disease and stigma of addiction.

Real people who give real hope.
